This policy explains what data the AZU60 Employee app (“the app”) handles, why, and where it is kept. The app is an internal HR tool that your employer (“the institution”) provides to its employees; it connects to the institution's own HR system.

The institution is responsible for your employment data and decides how it is used and how long it is kept. The app and its developer, MTIQ Software Solutions, act on the institution's behalf.

Data the app handles

• Account: your email or username and password, used only to sign in. The app does not store your password; it keeps a session token in the device's secure storage.
• Employee information: your name, employee ID, department, job title, manager and joining date, as held in the institution's system.
• Leave, attendance, shifts and overtime: your requests, balances, attendance records and their approvals.
• Salary information: a summary of your salary slip, if the institution provides it.
• Attachments: photos you choose to attach to a request (for example a document supporting a leave) from the camera or your photos. The app only accesses the camera or photos when you choose to.
• Support tickets: what you write and attach in in-app support tickets.
• Notification ID: a device subscription ID used to send you notifications (if you allow them).

What the app does not collect

• The app does not use your location.
• It has no ads, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not sell your data.
• Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint is only used to unlock the app and is checked by your device's system; the app never receives it and it is never sent anywhere.
• The app does not handle patient or any medical data.

Why the data is used

• To sign you in and show your employment information.
• To send your requests (leave, attendance, shift, overtime) to the institution and follow their approvals.
• To notify you when a request changes or one is waiting for your approval.
• To answer support requests.

Where data is kept and who it is shared with

• Your data is stored on your institution's HR system servers. The app connects to them over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) through the hr.ahead.iq gateway, which routes each institution to its own server.
• Authorized people at your institution, such as your manager and HR, see your requests as the approval path requires.
• Notifications: we use OneSignal to deliver notifications to your device. OneSignal receives the device ID and the notification text only.
• We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

On your device the app keeps the session token in secure storage and your preferences (language, theme, chosen institution). The session is removed when you sign out or delete the app; display preferences and the chosen institution are removed when you delete the app.

Retention, deletion and your rights

• The institution keeps your employment data according to its policies and the applicable law.
• Your account is created and managed by your institution. To see, correct or delete your data or account, contact your institution's HR department, or write to support@mtiq.dev and we will pass your request to your institution.
• You can turn off notifications in the app settings or your device settings at any time.

Security

All connections are encrypted, the session token is kept in the device's secure storage, and you can lock the app with Face ID or fingerprint in Settings.

Children

The app is for employees of institutions and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we update the “Last updated” date above, and tell users in the app when the change is significant.
